Pipe Based Well Screen
The pipe based well screen integrates the high hydraulic efficiency of continuous slot wedge wire screens with the superior strength of steel pipes. Commonly referred to as double-layer screens, they are available in both perforated and slotted configurations. All holes and slots on the base pipe are rigorously inspected and deburred to ensure unobstructed fluid flow. The product is manufactured from stainless steel or API 5CT carbon steel, providing outstanding pressure and corrosion resistance. They are widely used in deep wells, horizontal wells, and applications with specific requirements for collapse resistance and service length.

Structure
Base Pipe: Serving as the core structure, it is made of API 5CT carbon steel or stainless steel casing with a perforated or slotted design. The holes or slots are precisely machined and deburred to ensure both flow efficiency and compressive strength.
Screen Jacket: Constructed from continuous slot wedge wire, it is precisely welded onto the outer surface of the base pipe, providing high-efficiency filtration and low-resistance inflow.

Features
High flow capacity. The wedge wire screen outer layer is designed to significantly increase water or oil inflow while reducing frictional head loss, thereby greatly enhancing well efficiency.
Exceptional structural integrity. The base pipe provides robust support to the internal structure of the filtration layer. Combined with an optional external protective shroud, it offers outstanding resistance to collapse and deformation, making it suitable for longitudinally constrained applications like extended horizontal wells.
Flexible material selection. The outer layer of the screen pipe can be customized, including stainless steel, low carbon steel, and other materials, to accommodate requirements for corrosion resistance or high strength.
High slot density and low flow resistance. Innovative slot density is 3–5 times greater than that of conventional slotted screens, providing extremely low flow resistance and effectively enhancing oil and gas production.
Efficient manufacturing process. Standardized procedures enable cost-effective, large-scale production to meet the industry's high-volume requirements.
