Water Well Screen Installation and Cautions
What the screen is made of?

Operating principle: The v or wedge shaped profile wire wraps around the support rods over the full length of the screen creating a continuous slot opening, hence the screen allows water to enter the well freely in ample quantities while at the same time keeps the majority of sand and gravel out of the well. The fact that the gap increases in the direction of flow limits the blocking or clogging of the screen.
Stainless Steel Wedge - Wire Screens for water well drilling (Johnson type Screens)
1. Material: stainless steel (304,,316,316L etc.)
2. Diameter: 114.3mm,168.3mm，219mm,245mm,273mm,325mm
3. Slot Size (mm): 0.10, 0.15, 0.2, 0.25, 0.30-3 or as per customers’ requirement
4. Unit length up to 6m, 5.8m fit for container shipping
5. Open area up to 60%
6. End Connection: welding (beveled end), thread couplings (STC,LTC,BTC) or flange 7.Surface treatment: galvanized, painted, polished.
8. Packing: bubble bag and woven bag, in bundle, loose or in wooden cases.
1. Diameter: determined by the borehole diameter and pump size.
2. Material: stainless steel or galvanized carbon steel according to the PH value of water.
3. Slot size: as per the size of filter medium and gravels.
4. Collapse strength and tensile strength: decided by the depth of screen installed.
5. Unit length: 2.9 and 5.8m fit for the container. But other lengths are acceptable.
6. Connection methods: Welding, API Thread(Pin and Box), or Flange.
7. CO, FORM A, FORM E, CIQ,COC,SASO and other required certificate can be provided.
